WordPress maintenance is vital because it helps ensure that your website is secure, up-to-date, and running smoothly. Failing to maintain your WordPress site properly can lead to various problems, including security vulnerabilities, broken features, and poor user experience.
WordPress websites are built with themes and plugins. We pay for the highest quality themes and plugins to use on all the sites we build because they are the best, they are supported, and they help with all sort of things like site speed and SEO. But because they all use different code they can sometimes conflict with other software on the site and cause problems so this is the area where site care becomes essential, so please don't skip this!
Some clients like to manage this themselves, whereas others prefer to hand this job over to us to avoid any unnecessary tech headaches.
We offer three different plans to help you in this respect.
Please note that our aim is to help you - not to tie you into some awful monthly plan where you see no return for your monthly expenditure. To underline this point you are free to leave any plan you sign up to at any point, though it would help us if you could give us a month's notice.
If you've already opted for our hosting you will be covered by Option One below and we will send you a direct debit mandate to cover this payment on a monthly basis. (though you can of course take your site to different hosting whenever you like).
Our Website Care Plans (2, and particularly 3) are like having a personal web master on-call. We’ll handle all of your updates, edits, and troubleshooting. Our plans are a time saver and perfect for business owners and non-techies.
Simply send us an email with the changes you need and we’ll take care of it. We make website maintenance easy!
All plans are paid monthly by direct debit.
Option 1 - Basic
Hosting & Security Only
£25 per month
Includes:
• Website Hosting
• Annual SSL certificate
• Daily Backups of website
• Security Protection
*All ongoing website maintenance to be performed by client.
We can supply you with Website Owners Manual (WOM) and how-to video guidance to maintain your WordPress website.
Option 2 - Maintain
Hosting, Security & Maintenance
£55 per month
Includes:
• Everything in Option 1
• WordPress Core Updates
• Theme & Plugin Updates
• 24 hour critical software updates for security or performance reasons
• 30 minutes of support a month (to cover small changes/additions to website).
*All ongoing website maintenance to be performed by Beautifully Legal.
**Please note that support time does not roll over to the next month if unused.
Option 3 - Grow
Done for You Service
£95 per month
Includes:
• Everything in options 1 & 2
• Blog Article Posting
• Google Analytics Report
• 2 hours of support per month (to cover changes and additions to website).
*All ongoing website maintenance to be performed by Beautifully Legal.
